Do you know what Jesus calls you? He calls you lovely. YOU, my sweet friend, are so lovely. <3
Jesus doesn't say we need to be "pretty enough," or "smart enough," because to Him we are already lovely. We are fearfully made, and we are wonderful! You are so wonderful. We are so beyond thankful for what Jesus did for us on the cross. Because we can not make it on our own. It doesn't matter what you do, you can not ever earn your way to heaven or earn God's love. He ALREADY loves us, He ALREADY saved us, and it is finished. That is why, no matter what you do, you are lovely. You are loved.

Lovely guys and gals, even though we are not perfect, we are most defiantly loved and cherished. Romans 5:8 says, "God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." I know that you and I are sinners, but I want you to never ever forget that you are loved. Keep this truth close to your heart, Jesus loves you so so very much, and you are His precious child. You're so lovely!!

God's love for us is not based on what we have done, but what He has done for us!! and thank Jesus for that, because I know that I sure can mess us sometimes. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." This is such a powerful verse, because God shows us that He has already given the best gift of all, eternal life. We don't have to earn this gift, because God already gave it to us ! And the end of the verse says, "that no one may boast." :)  We are all sinners in need of Jesus, therefore we ought to love everyone, because no one is better than someone else in God's eyes. We are all of the same value, and we are all in need of the same thing; Jesus.

And it isn't enough to just be of such high value, but God wants us to KNOW our value! 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, Whom you have received from God? You are not your own. You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." We need to know our worth! You are God's temple, and we are called to honor God by respecting ourselves. God wants us to live in His freedom, but we can't do that if we don't know who we are. We are loved. You are loved. You are called lovely by your creator, and you can live in that! Let me tell you, when you live in the freedom which Christ has offered, everything will change, and for the better! The joy becomes uncontainable, and it's just awesome!! :)

The whole point of this is that you know how Lovely you are. You are chosen, redeemed, and you are given a gift that is beyond compare. You were given this gift because God loves you. No matter what the mean girl at your school says, God still calls you lovely. No matter what your insecure friend calls you, God still calls you lovely. Even if the popular boy calls you an unkind name, God still calls you lovely! Because you are lovely!! And your worth does not come from what others say about you, or even what you say about yourself! Your worth comes from God. 1 Peter 1:18-19 says, "For you know that it is not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you are redeemed, but with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect." I love this verse so very much! Especially because in this world, silver and gold are of very high value,  but those are nothing compared to what Jesus has done for you!:) So beautiful friend, chosen child, sweet brother or sister in Christ, you are just amazing. And you are oh so lovely.
